Why Should You Sanitise Your Car?

The average car has over 800 types of bacteria living inside, 10 times more than the average toilet.

According to the Daily Mail, A public toilet is a home to 80 bacteria for every inch and half, but 700 harmful bugs live in the same area on a steering wheel, gear stick and back seat.

Researchers at Queens Mary University in London recently found that steering wheels carry more bacteria than public toilets.

Sanitise Your Car in 3 Easy Steps

STEP 1 – PREPARATION

Ensure the vehicles interior surfaces are clean and free from any surface dust, dirt or moisture prior to the application of the treatment. In the event of mould, mildew or any residue from drinks or spillages being present, they must be cleaned and removed prior to the application taking place.

PLEASE NOTE: surface dust, dirt or moisture will prevent the antimicrobial treatment from bonding to the substrate and will have an effect on its longevity.

STEP 2 – EQUIPMENT

You will need a microfibre for dust removal, the Stayzsafe Antimicrobial Atomiser and another microfibre for residue removal.

STEP 3 – APPLICATION

Switch on the air-conditioner to recycle mode and the highest speed setting.

The temperature should be set to cold and vents should be open and level

Close all your windows and doors.

Place the Stayzsafe Atomiser in central place such as a cup holder.

Depress the trigger until it locks into place.

Close all doors until the atomiser has completely depleted (approximately 6 minutes) and wait a further 2 minutes until the mist has settled. The treatment is 100% non-toxic and safe.

How Does It Work?

Stayzsafe Antimicrobial Shield once applied, forms an invisible barrier on all the surfaces of the interior of your vehicle and its air-conditioning system, immediately sanitising and eliminating harmful microbes and bacteria present.

A layer of microscopic pins coats the surface and kills the pathogens by piercing and rupturing their cell walls. Stayzsafe therefore kills germs by ‘mechanical’ means and is non-toxic. All currently known superbugs are defenseless against our cell wall rupture technology.

What Does Antimicrobial Shield Mean?

Anti-Microbial Shield uses lysis technology that kills on contact and forms a permanent carbon shield offering up to 12 months protection.

What Is The Difference Between Antimicrobial Shield And Traditional Alcohol Sanitizers?

Anti Microbial Shield kill germs mechanically and has a permanent barrier that can kill up to 12 months.

Traditional alcohol or toxic poisons are only effective at the point of contact. They then evaporate with little or no lasting protection.

Will Antimicrobial Sanitisers Kill Viruses?

Yes – Stayzsafe Anti Microbial Shield has European Accreditation EN14476 against enveloped and envelopment viruses with a Log 4 rating.
